Prior to taking this course, all participants must have successfully completed ONE of the below National Highway Institute Courses or possess equivalent field experience relative to bridges.

1) National Highway Institute (NHI) Course No. 130055 - Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (10 day course)

2) National Highway Institute (NHI) Course No. 130056 - Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges for Professional Engineers (5 day course)

Participants are responsible for providing a copy of the prerequisite course completion certificate, bearing the participants name, to melissa.neyland@la.gov by Friday, December 5, 2025.
