WEB-BASED TRAINING (WBT) PREREQUISITE (PER NHI)

It is strongly recommended that participants take and complete National Highway Institute (NHI) Course No. 130107A - Fundamentals of Bridge Maintenance WBT prerequisite prior to taking this 4-day Instructor-led Training (ILT.)  This prerequisite WBT is being offered free of charge to participants.

NHI COURSE DESCRIPTION:

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Course is primarily for members of State and Local Departments of Transportation, as well as those contractors that perform work on behalf of these agencies. Training is primarily geared for individuals involved in on-site bridge maintenance and preservation activities and those that supervise and manage these activities. Training is appropriate for those with intermediate to advanced experience in bridge maintenance and repair activities. Training is also suitable for those with intermediate/advanced knowledge of general maintenance and repair activities that have successfully completed the prerequisite.  Those that are not involved in on-site bridge maintenance activities, such as designers and construction personnel, may also benefit from this training.
